Automatic cleaning:
The automatic cleaning cycle takes 4–5 minutes and uses 750 ml of water. Please ensure there is enough water in the tank and that a sufficiently large container is placed under the outlet.

Cleaning of removable parts:
The water tank, funnel and lid can be removed for cleaning. Please clean these parts by hand using cold or lukewarm water.
The exterior surfaces of your YOURCE mini can be cleaned using a neutral, non-abrasive detergent.

To what temperature can the YOURCE mini/YOURCE cool* heat the water?

At BRITA, we value the tradition of brewing each tea at the optimal temperature. You can adjust the water temperature with the push of a button, making tea enjoyment as easy as possible for you.

Ambient: for your joy of drinking water
45 degrees: for your well-being
65 degrees: perfect flavour for green tea
85 degrees: fully releases the fragrance of black and white tea

Why can the YOURCE mini/YOURCE cool only heat water up to 95°C?

The YOURCE mini/YOURCE cool* water dispenser is primarily designed for making tea and coffee. If water is boiled to 100°C, it becomes a vapour (steam) and so will not dispense reliably from the nozzle.

But on an even more important note: Boiling water above 100°C is not recommended, as 95°C is ideal for coffee and many types of tea in order to enjoy the best flavour.

What is UV-C?

UV-C refers to ultraviolet-C radiation, which is a type of ultraviolet (UV) light.
The C refers to the ultraviolet light with shorter wavelength and higher energy compared to UV-A and UV-B radiation.

UV-C light is known for its germicidal properties, making it effective for disinfection purposes. It can kill or inactivate microorganisms like bacteria and viruses by damaging their DNA or RNA, making it useful in various applications such as water purification, air sterilization and surface disinfection.

The high quality UV-C LED in the YOURCE mini/YOURCE cool* ensures 99.999% of bacteria in the water are eliminated. It has been tested and certified by the IWW, a German institute for water research.
